Crouch End For People

Guntrisoft were commissioned to develop a web site for the local Crouch End resident's group "Crouch End For People".

Background on Crouch End For People
Crouch End For People is a voluntary organisation which was formed in order to campaign for and against local issues around the Crouch End area. They are currently bidding for the running of the local Town Hall which the local council has been threatened to demolish.

The commitee members of Crouch End For People soon realised that they needed a website as a focus of their efforts, where people could register their support of the issues they were involved in. This is where Guntrisoft came in.

Guntrisoft's involvement
To begin with Crouch End For People needed a website which would enable them to get their views across to the visitors of the website, and allow their visitors to register their details, via a form. Once registered, Crouch End For People could email those registrants to keep them updated with the progress of their campaigning, via the backend admin section of the site.

Once the site was launched, Guntrisoft worked with Crouch End For People to establish their new requirements for the site, including a system to allow them to easily add pages to the website without any programming knowledge.

The backend admin system allows their administrators to add/modify/delete pages on the site. Using a page templating system, engineered by Guntrisoft, each page could look totally different, allowing them to add a mixture of text and pictures/photos to the pages, with the minimum of fuss.

The site has become a huge success for Crouch End For People, and has been instrumental in their campaign efforts.
